The 78th PCR Annual Convention, centered around the theme “Beyond the Image: Precision Diagnostics, Treatment, and Intervention Redefined,” has officially concluded. Among the standout highlights of the multi-day event was the highly successful Thyroid Ablation Workshop, during Day 3 of the convention(February 21, 2026). This provided attendees with critical, cutting-edge insights into minimally invasive interventional radiology.
Dr. Wei Che Lin is a renowned physician and radiologist in Taiwan specializing in minimally invasive thyroid and head-and-neck tumor ablations. He serves as the Chairman of Diagnostic Radiology and Director of the Thyroid, Head, and Neck Ablation Center at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He led a comprehensive four-hour intensive session focused on modern ablation modalities, precise ultrasound guidance, and innovative techniques.
